ABOUT POPE RABBITRY
"Sometimes a new chapter in life is opened, it may be unexpected, but it may be the best thing to happen to you"
- Brian Pope
I am a 14-year veteran of the United States Air Force. I started my career as a Security Forces member working in the missile field protecting Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) or the most powerful nuclear weapons in the world. From there, I became a Military Working Dog Handler, where I was a handler of explosive detection dogs and drug detection dogs. After 10 years of law enforcement experience, I made a career change and became a Loadmaster. That job composed of flying cargo and passengers all around the world on a C-17 aircraft. During my time in the Air Force I deployed 5 times and had the amazing opportunity of traveling to 45+ different countries. Unfortunately, my career was cut short due to injury, but sometimes a new chapter in life is opened, it may be unexpected, but it may be the best thing to happen to you.
After my retirement from the Air Force, as a family, we decided what our next chapter in life should become. After careful consideration, and much back-and-forth, we decided to live out our dreams of operating a small hobby farm. We packed up our belongings, sold our house, and travelled 2400 miles across country to the beautiful surroundings of NE Georgia. Now we have an 11-acre farm that houses goats, pigs, donkeys, turkeys, chickens and rabbits. It took very little time to realize that I wanted to focus on rabbitry. There is something very therapeutic about tending to rabbits. On behalf of my family, we look forward to providing you with the best rabbits in all of Georgia. Thank you for support.
